Provide your team with KADO digital business Cards

Now is the perfect time to bring your team onboard. Introducing other users to your KADO environment is not just about expanding your network; it’s about multiplying your possibilities. Collaborate, share, and grow together as you explore what KADO has to offer.

Before adding employees, make sure you have gone through Steps 1-3 included in our Business Onboarding Guide (multi-user accounts)

1. Adding employees

Alert! When adding employees, ensure they know in advance you will be using KADO as a digital business card provider, so that they watch out for the welcome email!

1. Adding them manually

  • Click on “Manage Users
  • Click on the “Add new user” button at the top right of the page
  • Fill in their basic information:
    • Full name
    • Position
    • Accreditations (MBA, Phd…)
    • Email
    • Phone number
  • Assign them to an Office
  • Assign them to a Team
  • Select their permissions (normal user, vs company admin or account admin)
    • Company admins may manage users and company card design
    • Account admins may manage integrations and billing
  • Click on Send and save email: your employee will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to get set up, a link to the web and to download the app.

2. Adding them in bulk

Alternatively, you may add employees through bulk upload:

  • Click on “Manage Users
  • Click on the “Upload Bulk users” button at the top right of the page
  • Download our template
  • Fill in the excel with all required info
    • The excel will have preloaded any offices and teams you have already created (!)
  • Upload it to KADO – upon upload, your employees will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to get set up, a link to the web and to download the app

2. Editing employee Data

Once you create a user in KADO, by default, they will be able to edit their own info.

If you’d rather block user edition, contact support@kadonetworks.com so that we can edit your account settings!

To edit a user’s digital business card:

  • Head to Manage Users
  • Select the employee you want to ammend
  • Change the fields as necessary and hit save

Any edit or change made on a digital business card / user will be automatically reflected on your employee’s card / app without having to regenerate another QR code.

ATT! Offline QRs / VCards stored in the wallet will need to be regenerated as those are not dynamic!

3. Deleting an employee in KADO

To delete a user:

  • Head to Manage Users
  • Click on the 3 dots at the right of a user
  • Click on the red bin

Once you delete a user, they will be automatically kicked out of their active sessions and their QRs will become unusable.

4. Adding multiple Cards to a User

One same user may have multiple cards for different occasions or languages.

As of today, multiple cards may only be added from the Admin Panel (Manage Users)

  • Head to Manage Users
  • Select a particular user
  • Click on Add KADO Card
  • Complete the new card’s info
    • Select a name for that new card
    • Prepopulate another team’s buttons or leave the general company template
    • Add an office to display on the card
    • Edit whichever other info you want to add
  • Your employee will get a notification that they have a new card created for them
  • They will be able to swipe between cards from the Exchange Screen
