Please make sure you already know the differences between offline and online QRs and the different ways to generate your QR code before reading this article. You may find more information here
Video: from sharing your card to managing your contacts
If you prefer to watch a video, the below sums up the entire process.
Otherwise, you will see below the step-by-step written guide!
Sharing your contact info and capturing contact info
In this section you will learn how to:
- Share your contact offline and how to ensure the other party saves your contact
- Share your online card and how the other party will view your card
- How to capture contact info from the other party
Sharing your online digital business card
1. Show your online QR to the other party
You may generate your QR code or save it in different places. Check out more info on that here:

2. View from the recipients phone
The other party will be able to interact with your card. When clicking on Exchange contacts they will be able to either:
- Save your contact on your devices (via a vcard)
- Revert their details

3. Recipients phone – Exchange contacts option (RECOMMENDED)
The other party will be able to revert their contact details back to you!
- They can clik on Exchange Contacts
- Again on Exchange contacts option
- They may fill in the form with their basic info
- Then click Send

4. Recipients phone – Download contact option
If they click on Download contact, your vcard will pop up and they will be able to save your contact (same experience as Offline QR – see below)
However, we recommend always going with Exchange Option
5. Once someone reverts back their info:
- They will also get an email with your contact details – reason why we recommend asking them to fill in the exchange form
- You will get a notification in KADO informing you that you have received a lead! (View section managing your captured leads below)
Sharing your offline QR – offline contact card
1. Under the exchange screen you will find your offline QR. You may have also added it to your wallet. Learn more on how to add a QR code to your wallet through the link below
https://knowledge.kadonetworks.com/article/how-to-add-your-qr-code-to-your-wallet
2. View from recipients phone:
Your contact info (vcard) will pop up directly onto the other person’s phone. They will be able to save your contact onto their device.
Note for iPhones (2-step-process): the other party will need to scroll down to Create New Contact and click there, before clicking done

Managing your Captured leads / Contacts
Below, you will learn where to find your leads captured and how to save them into contacts.
Note 1: If you have active integrations, only once you save a lead as a contact, will that contact be synchronized with other 3rd parties.
Note 2: If you are part of a team with whom you share contacts, only once you save a lead as a contact will it be shared with your colleagues.
1. Once someone reverts back their contact info, you will get a notification in KADO. The bell will also turn red.
2. Head to your notifications >> click on the Review Contact notification
3. You will land on the Leads Screen (leads = contact info captured via card form). You may:
- Accept a lead (turns it into a contact)
- Edit it and then save it
- Reject it (it may be recovered)

4. Once as lead is saved, head to the Home. Your new contacts (saved leads), will appear under Recent Contacts
Click on your latest contact to view it!
5. Once in the contact, click on “Relationship Science” to add notes, tasks, integrate your email & calendar, etc.

6. Under the Relationship Science section, you will be able to:
- Add notes (shared or private)
- Add tasks (private view)
- View your emails & meetings with that contact (private view), via integration with Outlook email and calendar
- Download their LinkedIn profile
NOTE: If you are part of a team with whom you share contacts, your notes will automatically be shared with them, unless marked as private
