Setting up your account as a solo user – Web (Recommended)

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on setting up your KADO Digital Business Card. It covers adding basic company data, designing the card, and adding links and socials. Overall, it is a comprehensive resource for anyone looking to set up KADO Digital Business Cards for themselves.

1. Sign up and account creation

  • Navigate to https://app.kadonetworks.com/sign-up/networker-lite
  • You may sign up via SSO or email + one-time-passcode (OTP)
    • SSO with Outlook or GMail: for SSO with your company, your IT team may require to whitelist KADO.
    • OTP: click on”Get my one-time-passcode“. You will receive an email in your inbox with the passcode that has been generated.
  • Please note, once you sign into KADO, your session will be active for 6 months for that particular device and browser.
  • Fill in your basic information, including email, name and company name, and click “Submit”.

2. Company set up (basic info, Location)

1. Basic company info

Head to “Manage Company” on the left-hand-side menu.

  • Add your legal and commercial name (commercial name will be the one displayed on the card)
  • Add your website (remember to add https://)
  • Upload a company logo (squared)
  • include a brief description

All this information will appear under the About us section in the card

2. location

  • If you have an office or location you want to display on the card, head to the “Offices” tab.
  • You may add an offices to which you can later assign yourself.
  • The office name will not appear in the card, but will be used as an internal reference.

Alert! Teams are only used for multi-user / B2B accounts, so you may ignore this tab

3. Company card design

Note: all changes and edits applied under this section will be replicated across the board and all your users.

Design / Theme: change the color of the background, icons, main text (user name and company name) and secondary text (rest of card). You may add the Hex colors or choose other colors by clicking on the palette icon. Some of these features may require upgrade.
Cover picture: upload a cover for the card. Image should be 600x200px in size

Alert! The Features and Socials added under the Card Design section would be applied to all users in the event you add more in the future. For personal buttons and socials (ie: your LinkedIn, your own scheduler), head to My Profile.

4. Editing your personal card

1. Basic card info

Now that your company is fully set up and you have added employees, don´t forget to complete your own profile!

  • Click “My Profile
  • Upload your picture
  • Complete any additional profile information under Card Info
    • Pronouns / Accreditations
    • Add yourself to an office
    • Add your phone number(s)
    • Click “Save Changes”

2. Personal Buttons, Videos and Socials

You may add personalized buttons and video content to your own card (which only appear on your own card). For example, you may want to add a personal marketing video, or a link to your meeting scheduler (calendly or similar).

Buttons and video

  • Click on “Card Features” tab
  • Click “Add Content”
  • For buttons:
    • Click “Call to Action button”
    • Fill in the display text and paste the URL of the button
    • Click “Publish”
  • For video (Vimeo and YouTube only):
    • Click “Add Content”
    • Click “Embedded Video”
    • Paste the Vimeo or Youtube URL
    • Click “Publish”

Social links

You may add links to your active social networks, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter /X and others

  • Click on the “Social Links” Tab
  • Click “Add Social”
  • Select the social network
  • Paste the URL to your profile
  • Click “Publish”

3. Download the app

Don’t forget to download the app for your personal use and on-the-go networking!

5. Sharing your card and capturing leads

6. integrations

You may integrate KADO with your Outlook / GMail account, as well as with different CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics or other via Zapier). These integrations will allow you to send your contacts and notes directly to your CRM to avoid transcribing or housekeeping!
