Different ways of sharing your card

Please note that, no matter which means you choose to share your digital business card, the other party will not need the app to receive your contact info.

There are 3 main ways of sharing your card or contact information:

  • Through your digital QR code: this QR code links to your digital business card on the web.
  • Through your offline QR code: best used when there is no internet connection, it shares your contact directly to the recipients phone via a vCard.
  • Via a link: you will be able to copy the link to your digital business card and paste it or hyperlink it in other materials.

Different Types of QR Code

As mentioned above, we can find 2 different types of QR codes

Online QR code linking to your digital business card

When scanned, the other party is directed to a website which will show your personalized digital business card, including contact info, socials, buttons and video.

From that view, the other party will be able to:

  • Download your contact as a vcard
  • Revert back their contact details

This QR code is permanent, meaning that even if you information changes, you may still use the same QR code.

Offline QR code with your vCard

Best used when there is no internet connection, it shares your contact directly to the recipients phone via a vCard. It will include your basic information as well as a link to KADO’s digital business card, in case they are able to review it later.
